Hi all, I just bought a F500BT GPS unit, (it was an open box, but i got a very good price on it) also this is my first ever gps unit... but i have problem with it.
PS: I'm from Canada and was bought in a canadian store.
When i first took the unit, the battery was already in place in locked position.
(and was dead) so recharged the battery for about 3 - 4 hours until the unit show battery full.
But now i used the unit on battery (unglugged) and in less than 1 min the unit told me the battery need to be rechared and the unit shut off... but the battery is not "really dead" i can reopen the unit for less than 1 min before it tell me again the message and shut off... it's really strange.
Second thing, in the configutation menu my unit can't get any GPS signal.
I see 3 green blinking square but it cannot get signal...
Map version is : 01.000600
firmware Version : 2.007000
I haven't modified anything...!
Anyone can help before i return it!
