I never had the owners manual for it, and I know its an older unit, but is there any way to upload a custom background to this unit?

I do have the manual and have been through it cover to cover and cant find any info about changing the background. i would like to do the same thing, the blue background is very plain.

thanks for at least looking. I know some other pioneer headunits allow you to upload your own image to the oEL display. didn't know if this had anything similar.
