Hey guys,

 

Got recommended to have a read of these forums to get the best out of my avic-f710bt - and it certainly seems like the right place to be

 

I've had a look around and seem some great mods you can do, but i'm not entirely sure which ones would work for my unit etc etc so I thought I'd just ask someone to point me in the right direction... basically, what should I do to my f710bt to make it as good as it can be?

 

My firmware (I think) is 3.00.03 - my only ever attempt at changing anything was to update to 3.01.01 when it was released but after following all the instructions, the system didn't update when the SD card was inserted with the update on and after trying a few different ways I gave up so all in all... I've got nowhere

 

What can I do then peeps? can I maybe put on Diaftia's Hybrid mod and stuff like that or is that not for the right unit?
