Hi i just recently purchased a x710BT and after browsing the forums i've come to the general consensus that the x710bt is basicly the same as the f700bt just a little different hardware. And since that is the case any mod/hack (including firmware update) meant for the f700 will also work for the x710bt is that a correct assumption?

no, hacks and mods only work for the f series at least thats what ive gotten from everyone on this forum might wanna pm vblue though cause he really seems to know what u can and cannot do he is on the ball with this stuff and im still a noob lol

Dont you mean the hacks for the F700 will work on the X710 as long as the X710 is running 3.x firmware?

I am trying to sort this out myself...

I want to run the mods from DIAFTIA and or IDT on my X711BT but I am really nervous about bricking my unit.
