I have found the soultion for charging I-Pod Touch and I-phone 3GS. It is from Precision Interface (www.pie.net) if you go there you can search CC-iPD. i will post the link below. If you have any questions please contact me i have 2 (1 in each car) working like a champ!!!

I'm assuming this is for the original D/N/Z 1/2/3 owners. The F and X series, as well as the Z110BT all charge the iphone including the 3G and 3GS.
I have an F710bt and it will not charge the 3GS no matter what i do. tested it on an f910 as well no luck . But this does work for units other than Pioneer i tried it on Alpine Eclipse and Kenwood all worked fine. Yes it will work with 3G and standard ipods and ipod touch!! no extra wiring either very clean interface.
i have had all three iphone gens since owning a 900bt and they worked flawlessly except with charging the 3gs. i replaced the cables with a set from Rocketfish, no change. it will charge about 1 out of 10 times i plug it in.
