I have successfully performed the N1 mod and updated to the 60MP East software. Navtraffic seems to work fine also. The only thing I'm experiencing is a screen freeze every few minutes.

 

It's just the screen because the voice guide still directs me when the screen is frozen. It seems as though the dvd drive is trying to access the dvd for more info resulting in the periodical freeze. I say this because when I remove the dvd I don't have any freezing. Or maybe the dvd disk I have has a defect. I got it from another member here when I bought his N2 hideaway brain.

 

I'm running a modded N1 with 60MP software plugged into a N2 brain.

 

Does the N1 have a small buffer? I think the N3 has a 15 gig so that might be the slight freezing problem I'm having with the N1.

 

If anyone else could shed some light on this I would be interested to hear from you.
