Hi,

Sorry i am new to this but i am trying to upgrade my firmware also and used this site as a guide and source for downloads : http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/content/suppo ... 700BT.html , I followed the procedure to update it from V1 to V2 and it worked without problems. but now i am trying to do the same with 3.0 however it fails. i did exactly whats described but the card doesn't seem to be recognized. The system just boots without updating.

I guess you must have all seen this question a million times but i was unable to find any answers:

Do i need to download the firmware somewhere else or follow one of the install guides around here ? i have an European version of the F700BT and live in Holland so what guide is suitable for me ?

My maps are outdated also, how am i able to update those ?

Unless you have purchased and installed the 3.0 update (with the CNSD-100FM update in the Pioneer store), the 3.x firmware upgrade on that site won't install.

Ok thats seems a bit weird since i was able to update to firmware level 2. But thanks, i will look into the guides on the forum to install 3.0 in a different way..

Does the firmware update also install new maps for me ?
