AVIC Z1 US model use Australian Maps

Hey guys,

 

I've been offered a US supplied Z1 for a reasonable price. From what I've been reading I won't be able to get the maps from Pioneer, so I'm wondering what other options do I have? I don't want to purchase the unit without knowing 100% that I'll be able to get Australian maps working perfectly on the unit.

 

If this has been covered before I must have missed it as I've been researching all morning without a definite answer. Thanks in advance.

Be aware the tuner part between US <> Australian is also different....
