Anybody know if the beep/tone sound remains if you hook this up to a multi-channel amplifier setup? I read somewhere that if you don't use the audio section of a unit that the beep tones would not be heard cause they don't go through the output section/RCAs. I just can't remember if that was for the AVIC Z110BT or not.

yes it does go thru the pre amp side the beep can also be turned off in settings. i find it annoying jim
