My D2 LCD screen finally cracked yesterday. I'm looking to replace the broken head unit while keeping my existing wiring, XM and iPod receiver. D3 comes a natural choice given compatibility with my existing accessories. However, I'm not sure if the wiring on the back is identical for a D3 HU. Could anyone shed some lights? Thanks!

You will need a different ipod cable. Also don't remember the harness being compatible so the answer there is likely no.

The plugs may be different, if you're comfortable enough you could probably pull the old pins out of the old plug and move them to the new one.
