I'm installing the Z1 into an dodge magnum srt8 with the oem kicker system and I can't get any sound when using the speaker outs for the front and when I use the rear I get a muffled sound. I have a couple more questions also.

did u connect the blue/white wire off the z1 to the amp turn on, on the car?
For the "This function is not available now" ...That happened to me when my Z1 was first hooked up.....The installer told me it would go away after a few miles of driving..I was skeptical...he was right...It did go away.

Yes, for the first message, you need to have driven the car with the Z1 installed for a couple of miles so that the Z1 can calibrate itself to your car.
You cannot acess the two icons on the right because you don't have a route planned so you can't see the overview or cancel it.

They got lost. Their avic seems to have directed them to the wrong sub forum.

Thanks for the help. I had overlooked that blue/white wire because it was on a plug with RCA inputs and I'm not using those.
