Hi folks

I bought a pioneer avic d1 in june 2007. It was a demo in the store since the day 1 this unit was on the market so it was pretty already beat up... I purchased a service plan with it so if they have to make 4 MAJOR fix, or is unfixeable, they'll have to give me a new one with the same caracteristics / refund me the full price.

The problem here is the word MAJOR... It's already the third time I'm about to send the unit for repair... my problem are the following :

-Screen is decalibrated

-Front panel open when he wants

-When front panel open, cd eject just about 1/4 inch and I have to pull it out of the unit, this scratch the cd along the way...

-Unit make a weird noise when the unit is cold

This doesn't count for them as a MAJOR repair so even if I send the unit 10 time for this problem, Ill be stuck with it.

The first time I send them the unit, it came back as fuxxed as b4... second time, it was good for 2 weeks but then the screen lost his calibration again.

NOW I WANT TO BLOW THE UNIT SO THEY WONT BE ABLE TO FIX IT AND GIVE ME A NEW ONE / REBATE ON A NEW ONE. Another problem is that since I installed the radio my self, I don't want them to say that it's the installer fault an that they wont pay.

The unit have already been open by them(ill have to check if they have put a little warrenty sticker but i don't think so) so I don't care to open the unit and short something inside...

I was thinking about replacing the 10A fuse by a 15A fuse and shorting the hi output wires but I just want to be shure they'll have no wat to know about that....

You guyz have others idea or have been in a similar situation ? Unit weas bought at best buy.

Thanks and sorry for my poor english, it's not my first language
