Im getting a D2 for my bday in a few weeks. I have a 2004 ford explorer, will it mount directly in the din or do i need some sort of brackets? thanks

It will fit, you will need a kit. The part number is 95-5026. Though you could remove the bracket from the stock radio and mangle it a bit to fit the avic but it'll look better using that kit.

You'll need a 70-1771. Also there will be a second plug plugged into the radio. It's probably only going to have a couple wires in it. One of them is gray with a black stripe. That's your vss wire.
