Thinking about getting one of these F series headunits.. unsure which to go for to be honest. I have been fairly active in the carpc scene for many years but I've just lost interest in it and after a fit and forget solution for a kitcar I'm building..

 

So first question is.. Are the newer 710/910 alot better and faster than the 700/900 ?

 

I'm more than happy modding bits and have wrote software before on winCE so if bit's need changing / adding then this isn't a problem at all.

 

I've seen alot of posts with bugs but all this seem's to have been solved with the release of ver 3.0 which I believe if I bought a second hand unit I could upgrade to F.O.C with a bit of playing..

 

Also.. if I do get one is there a thread somewhere that highlights afew recommended mod's ?
