I just purchased and installed a X710BT for my wife's car. The software version shows 3.0201, the manufacture date is Oct 09.
One difference I noticed is the Display preferences for Sirius are retained when audio sources are changed - ie: If you have Sirius set to display the song title and then change to FM or other input, the Sirius would lose the setting and go back to displaying just the station id. Now it will return to displaying the song title. I also noticed it seems to startup just a little faster.
I have an X910 in my car that I bought in June 09 and had to update to 3.0101.
I checked Pioneer's website and still the only version available for download is 3.0101 for both X710 and X910. Does anyone have any contacts with Pioneer and find out if/when 3.0201 will be released to us?
Thanks,
