I am in arizona and my installer is telling me that too much heat can affect the z1 function?

He also told me that as the hard drive fills up with music, that it can affect the speed of the z1

Short answer yes extreme heat will prevent the z1 from turning on the hard drive.

 

THe harddrive filling up thing, I could see that being possible at least based on what happens when a computers hd gets full.
