Insalled a new updated hard drive today in the Z1. Everything loaded up ok, and everything worked great. Went to load some customer screens and forgot that I had left a DVD in the machine. Pushed the eject button, makes a lot of noise, but no eject of the DVD.

Now, the screen won't go up, and the DVD won't eject.

Any way to manually eject the DVD? Hopefully, once ejected it might allow the screen to rise and the system to work again.

IF possible, please delete. I was able to get the disc out with a small pair of needle nose pliers, hit the reset and all is ok.

Did you try to put a new disc in to make sure the drive isn't broken?

As a matter of fact, I have recorded two discs to the hard drive since I removed that one disc. I believe it might have warped due to being in their for a long period in the desert heat. I just tossed it when I pulled it so I can't really say it was warped.
