Hi, I got yesterday my new 9110bt (VW version of the 910bt) and I started to read this forum, FAQ etc...

But I have still some questions

1.) I took my Iphone with the whit Iphone cable on the AVIC USB and it founds my 3G instantly, but I couldn’t hear anything no music and no podcasts possible - (but I can see the CDs, Logo etc)? Do I need the Pioneer Ipod Cable or is there something wrong?

2) Is it possible to connect a USB Harddrive - I tried my WD but doesn't work

3.) Is there any possibility listen Webradio from my Iphone on the AVIC ?

4.) Is there any possibility to have internet access through my Iphone (mirror Safari?)

That’s it, after my first AVIC day Maybe more later...

In the future please do a search of the forum. All of these questions have been answer many times before.

1. Yes

2. Yes but it is unreliable and a waste of time. Stick with iPod/iPhone.

3. Yes, go to iPod source, select video, open radio app. It is important to have at least on video on the iPod for this to work.

4. There is a thread on here that someone was able to get this to work through some pretty extreme hacking but I don't think it is very reliable. A search of the hacks and mods forum should bring up the details.

OK I need the "special" Pioneer Cabel, but then I have to switch to Video to listen Webradio Does it mean in AVIC Videomode I could listen everything which comes normaly out of the Iphone speaker (like gamesound if I play)? And does the same work if I would look a youtube video etc.?

I know there is a Iphone App which send the current screen signal to the "AV-Out" ... could that app send my Iphone Desktop as well (via pioner cable) to the AVIC e.g. mirrow the internet browser

Let me re-clarify, if you are just listening to a radio app, or any audio app, all you have to do is select the ipod source and then open the app on the iphone and the audio will output from the phone to the input on the unit.

This where you will need to hit the VIDEO button at the top right of the iPod source on the unit in order to "open" the input for video. Remember you must have at least one video on the iPhone or the head unit will not let you hit the VIDEO button for the iPod source. Once you hit video, open you tube and the video will be output to the screen.

Yes, there are several TV OUT apps for jailbroken iPhones that will work in various ways. Some will allow you to display the phone desktop on the unit but they do not work very well in my option. There is really not a lot of reason to do so. There are others that will simply output the video from apps to the screen and they generally work pretty well. I use an app called Resupported.

Hi, YES i got the cable this week and it works

I have downloaded Resupported and now I can look downloaded Podcast on the screen further I have installed a Y-Cable to get the Iphone Video Out to Video1 and as well to the Rear Camera Input. When I am using Rssplayer to download podcast the video is non visable unter "Podcasts". Maye the storage destination is different to Itunes.

OK therfore I am using the Camera in as second Video-In... But i like to remaove this message: Attation!!... on top of the screen... Is the a hint how I could remove it?

2.) I read in the forum regarding the Diaftia's Hybrid mods. Is there a "final" version for the Europeen version of the 910bt with a "installation manual" ?

Why not just use the AV2 input on the front of the unit?

No please no cables in front of the device... Is it a difficult thing to remove this stupit warning message?

Here is a solution you wont even notice is plugged in the the V2 input. I have the wire tucked under the unit between the bottom of the unit and the dash kit. It does require a gender changer for the RCA plugs but those can be had for cheap.
