Ok...I'm hooked on XM. It works great in the Hummer Avic D3...I would like to be able to use the XM in other cars etc. with the Roady and cradle. Can I use the cradle and a patch cord (3.5 mm to ISP) in place of the GEX-P920XM??? I assume that this will be an audio only connection and tune with the Roady head. Possible??/ Done by others??

PS...when the one year sub expired we lasted only 4 days with "real" radio...LOL

yes you could use a roady and an aux in cable, you will lose all control from the radio, and have to control it all from the roady.

 

 

they do have a new sirius tuner out that gives you a car kit dock, and you can use a plug and play receiver (kinda like the roady) except it will control the receiver from the touch screen when its docked. and then you can take the P&P receiver out and use it in another car kit if you would like.
