ok. i just installed this tonight. im able to play music from radio,cd,ipod and look at the maps. however every other button i try to use isnt highlighted and i cant touch it. is there something im missing thats causing this? i cant even go into system settings or anything. i will touch phone and every icon shows but wont let me touch any buttons. any input would be a big help

you will either have to have the system bypassed or have the parking brake set(with the wire correctly hooked up) to access all of the system settings

ya. i forgot to hook upthe wie to a ground. figued it out later on. lol. now i just gotta find the right ground for the bypass

you need to move the mute wire and ground (along with grounding the p-brake wire) for the bypass, pictures and pin locations are in the sticky thread at the top of the hacks page.
