Im quite new , so im from Belgium and Im so proud of my AVIC F700BT in my VW T5 surf VAN.

I bought the unit , secondhand ( there the new was a little to expensive ) I checked the

software and map version . Softwar 2.0something and for the map 1.something.

The bleutooth version software is HW100-SW330RC3/

 

My cellphone is a Samsung Jet of better known as the S8000. Even my samsung can not detect my phone.

 

Hope that someone has an idea what to do.

i hope you meant to say that even the samsung can not detect you AVIC

 

if you have tried to pair from both your phone and your AVIC, then one of them has a problem. sometimes the pair wont work unless you do it from the phone, sometimes the pair wont work unless you do it from the AVIC.

 

i would try to use a friends phone to see if other phones will pair to the avic, or try to pair your phone to something else to try to see which device has the problem.

 

you can also check to make sure that your bluetooth firmware is up to date

 

there also may just be a compatibility issue with the unit and your phone
