Hi i was wondering if anyone knows the wire colors for the AVIC-Z1. I am trying to create a wire audio harness for my Honda Civc 06 Ex Sedan. But i need to the wire audio colors so i can match them up to my honda wires. Thanks :lol:

If you go to pioneerelectronics.com you can download the z1 manual with all installation diagrams and wiring colors included. I don't have the direct link to the manual but I think you need to create an account (free) first.

Black - ground
Yellow - constant +12v
Red - Igntion/accy
Orange/yellow - illumination
Blue - Antenna Remote
Blue/white - Amp Remote
Yellow/black - mute
White - Left Front +
White/black - Left Front -
Gray - Right Front+
Gray/black - Rightfront -
Green - Left Rear +
Green/black - Left REar -
Purple - Right Rear +
Purple/black - Right Rear -

If you can get a hold of the wiring harness for your car, that'll make the job 1000x easier since all you'll have to do is match wire colors. Almost all after market radio use EIA standard colors for the wires.
