This might have been posted before, but I was unable to find it.
I have an f700bt, shiped with 2.0, I then used the 3.0 upgrade found here. Can I use the 3.02 that is on pioneers website under the x700 to upgrade mine? wondering if there are compatibility with the version of 3.0 I am using and the 3.02 on the web.

i used it on my 900 but i used the x900 3.01 first no probs ......what subie u got???
I got an 06 Legacy non turbo 
but I really like it. Done alot of audio work to it.
where did you get the 3.0.1 update from?
After doing the 3.0 update, you can not just jump to 3.02, you first have to do the 3.01 update. The 3.01 update can be found here:

3.02 is downloaded from the pioneer website.
I cant seem to get to that ftp site.... but it might just be that I am at work and it is blocking it. Are there any install directions on how to install the 3.01 update?
Ok I was able to get into the FTP site once I got home... but which file / files do I want? and what do I do with them afterwards?

I upgraded to 3.0 from pre 2 something using info on this site on 900bt. Thanks to all who put info out on that btw. Anyways I was able to jump straight to 3.02 from Pioneer's site even though my 3.0 was "unofficial." Never had to fool with 3.01 is all I'm saying
Hey i just did the 3.0 update on my 700bt and a friends 700bt from files on avic411. Both went great, and both head units are running tons faster with awesome new features. is it worth it to do the 3.01 and then get 3.02? whats new or better about 3.02 over 3.0?
Can I used the update for the X710Bt for my 3.0 F700BT from the Pioneer Website???
