I've searched all over the forums and read the manual... I just upgraded from a Z1 to the Z110bt, I've been able to change the splash screen easily..

My question is how do you change the start up screen when I turn my truck on?

And how do I change the background?

As long as none of your screens look like this, I'd say don't fix what isn't broken.

It doesn't say anywhere, on my Z1 I was able to change the background by loading a data disc an applying the graphics....

There is no option to do so on the 110.

I'm thinking that pic of the blue screen of death as shown above would be a great April Fools day start up screen if you have a friend with an Avic.

I agree. I have another one that makes your screen look cracked all to hell... have got some GREAT reactions using that one.

I don't think this was clearly answered so I'm throwing this out there....

You can change the loading/startup/splash screeen by putting your jpg image in a folder called Pictures on the SD card, importing it. then go to the System Settings/Splash Screen to select it.

This can be found in the owners manuals on page 99 for the Z110BT and 164 for the Z120BT. I believe the instructions are exactly the same for both.
