so i tried what DUcati said to do in another thread to burn dvds and i still can not get it to work. I even used the program he said to ue TMPEnc3XP and it wont work for me. Any ideas why anyone?

Well you obviously did something wrong. I don't know what you did. What did you convert? What did you convert it to? What were all the settings? What did you use to create the VOB/IFO dvd structure? What did you burn it on to? Does this dvd play in a set top dvd player?

Then you convert to MPEG2, and then create the DVD with the dvd author program, I like TMPGENC's one.
