I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST DVD PLAYER I CAN GET TO WORK WITH THIS UNIT THAT WILL WORK WITH THE HEADUNIT. I'M SURE IT WILL HAVE TO BE A PIONEER BUT I'M NOT TRYING TO BREAK THE BANK. THANKS GUYS

You can basically use any DVD player with RCA outs, as long as you dont mind controlling the dvd player with a remote. If you need to control it with the touchscreen, be prepared to shell out some big bucks!

The only single DVD player that the D2 can control is the SDV-P7.

But if you get a DVD player with RCA out then you can play the DVD through the AV inputs. Thats what I have set up and it works perfectly for what I need it for. I keep the remote in the glove compartment and the IR eye for the dvd player is in sight, so its really no biggie for me.

i just got an sdv-p7 used for $118, so they are not too bad. still waiting on the av-bus cable to arrive so i can hook it up.
