Im new here so this question may have already been asked, but i am looking to upgrade a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT.

I have read that a firmware update would improve unit overall. I think its version 3?

Also i am looking to do a map upgrade but i am not sure i am buying the right think. I live in Malta - Europe, and found a map upgrade on amazon or similair (Pioneer Cnsd-100Fm Map Upgrade) but not sure if this is just for USA, Europe or both. Does anyone know what i should purchase? and where in Eu i can purchase?

You have to purchase it on an SD card. Any Pioneer dealer should be able to get it for you.
