Hello all.. I did a search for my problem but could not find an exact match.

 

I recently purchase and had an AVIC-F90bt installed on my Passat. Everything works great except for the SD and USB connection. The odd thing is I can get the Ipod touch (which uses the same cable)to recognize perfectly. I goofed around with the AV settings ie., AV1-EXT, video... I plugged 2 different USB sticks (Cruzer and verbatim) with no success. I saw a posting where people formatted the drives with Fat32 and 32kb alocation units, I also tried that to no avail...

 

Is it possible I have 2 bad components or am I forgetting something..

 

Any help for this noob would be much appreciated..

My SD cards will not play anymore, either. They played fine for the longest time, then one day I noticed they just didn't. What's strange is that they won't play in the front SD slot and using a jump drive. Pioneer technical says it needs to be sent in.

 

I've unplugged it, reset it, formatted many sd cards, etc, etc. no luck.

 

If anyone has suggestions, thanks.
