rear outputs

Hi Guys, got my Z110Bt installed today. Works great except.....

my F and R outputs go to a 4 ch amp.

the fronts sound great but the rears are muffled. very basey (almost as if it is on a sub setting)

when I switch the rca`s at the HU the fronts sound muffled and the rears sound great.

There is a setting on my amp that allows me to play all 4 speakers on channel 1 and 2. When I do that all 4 speakers sound great.

Through the series of elimination I have narrowed it down to the HU. I have searched all settings to see if it is in fact a setting on the rear outputs. The only thing that is remotely close is the rear output sub setting which is set on full.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

thinking the first setting you had it on is a mono setting

whatever it is it is at the HU (I think). Is there a setting I can look for?

Are you using the staging feature?

I am but it does it regardless

Sounds like you have the HPF on. That can be done by either using the staging, or using the HPF directly. Turn them both off and you should have full range to everything

no. same thing with staging off and hpf off. I think my rear outputs in the hu must be not working.
