I am not new to registering devices to use DivX. I input the registration code and DivX makes the registration file. I transfer onto a USB drive and try to play it on my AVIC Z110-BT. The problem is that the unit does not recognize the file. What do I need to do in order to complete the registration?

NOTE: The file must play on the unit to complete registration.

I vaguely remember the z110bt manual saying that DIVX feature is only compatible via CDR/DVD-R.

I ended up burning the DivX file on a DVD. It was a bit scrambled but, I assume the activation worked.
