I just got a Z2 that I've been playing with and am planning on putting in my car. I noticed the noise when opeing the screen sounds kind of loud in comparison to an Eclipse Fujitsu-Ten unit or the new factory LG units that Hyundai is using. The noise sounds like the motor or tack is dirty but when I look in at the gear inside and the track, everything looks pretty clean. Just courious if this is what others have noticed if they've used other brands. Also looking for a little assurance that everything will be ok... I have just sent the drive to Garret for the upgrade to Z3, so looking forward to getting that back and playing with it further.
