i have a z110bt and it has restarted on me a few times. i recently had all the wiring looked at to verify any power problems but nothing was found. when it happens it just powers down and restarts for no reason. it never stays off for any length of time, just long enough to reboot/restart. it doesn't happen very often. maybe once a month. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I don't recall seeing this problem, but the early Z1 rebooting issues (unit got too hot) come to mind.

Try contacting Pioneer about this and let them know. Where are you located? I'm thinking the unit is overheating. Can you provide some more details about operating variables like ambient temperature, whether A/C is on or off, etc.

Basically, what is going on when the unit reboots?

i'm in texas. the first time it happened it was cold outside, snow on the ground. i'm always driving listening to my ipod that is plugged into the system when it happens. i use both a nano and a classic ipod and it has happened with both of them. it has only happened 5 times since i've installed it 6 months ago, so its not a serious problem yet.
