distorted voices

I recently put in the Z110BT into my 2006 charger. Everything seems to be working fine except that whenever I have a BT phone call I hear distortion in the voice coming through the speakers. It is like a buzz accompanying the voice similar to the way a blown speaker will buzz. I get this only at higher volumes so if I turn off the car and use it with the volume low it is fine. It does not seem to matter if the phone BT volume is high or if the Z110BT volume is high. It seems like when the unit amplifies it that it becomes distorted. It happens not only with BT phone calls but also with the NAV prompts and also the voice that prompts me to enter a VR command.

The music and movies audio is great and I hear no such distortions ... only with the voices from BT and NAV.

Anyone else have this or a clue as to any solution? It is making BT unusable if the car is moving.

Thank you.

hey i have a magnum rt, did you by any chance connect any of the RCA wires to anything like the factory amp?

I used the PAC C2R-CHY4 which connects directly into the factory harness behind the radio. I did wire it like the directions said with both front and rear speaker outs into the the rear only due to the factory amp. I did no other connections to the car other than use the existing FM antenna (with adapter) and the existing SIRIUS antenna (by using an extension cable to run from the trunk).

Everything with the music seems great. It is only when either voice over BT or voices from the NAV system are talking that I get this distortion at medium and higher volumes. It is getting to the point where I may have to just turn off bluetooth and go back to a headset which would be incredibly disappointing.
