i remember i bought a nokia car kit on an old car 2 yrs ago, and whenever i used the car microphone ppl used to ask me, DUDE WHERE U AT, IN A CAVE???? the sound was all messed up...i even called my office and left myself a voicemail to hear it for myself....it did sound messed up

i ordered the bluetooth adapter a couple of days ago and just got me the LG chocolate phone for verizon...im hoping the quality of this whole bluetooth car kit is good (i guess im gonna put the mic near the visor, is that a decent place for good sound..?)

It's not the greatest. It's doable for conversations, but not spectacular. I think that my Parrot CK3100 had much better voice quality. You might even be able to use the mic from that in the Z1, but I don't know, there was talk about then ages ago and I don't know what came from it.

Put the mic as close to your mouth as possible. Visor, middle of the steering wheel post, under the dash, on the top of the A pillar (where I put mine).

Mine appears to work fine for phone conversations but I'm not on the phone a lot while driving.
