I just received my F700BT unit back from repair for a boot loop problem. I could not get the usb cable to work and now I have found it is because it is actually "cut". Is there a way to replace the internal usb cable?

Thanks

Just do a solder job on it with a new cable or the same one.

I did cut the cable fully and there are four wires, black, red, green and white. There is also some plastic filament, is this to make the wire more stable, the four colored wires are pretty thin, or do they serve a purpose? Never did this before either is there a certain solder I should use for this kind of cable? thanks for your help :)

Yeah USB uses 4 cables. Just use regular solder on it.

Thank you so much for your help, did the solder job, patched it really well and it works like a charm.
