I have the option of possibly buying a used F700BT or D3 on craigslist. What concerns me most if the wiring (i have a 2001 Lexus ES300). Can anyone tell me how difficult it is?

As far as the wiring, I'm not familiar with any inherent issues to your specific vehicle. However, just remember, nothing about wiring a stereo is "difficult", some are just more time consuming than others.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still hesitant to try a used unit, so I've been looking at more reasonably priced ones and the X710BT clocking in at around $500 is looking really good. Of course, if anyone's aware of the F700BT or D3 for cheaper than average prices I'd be very interested.
