my ipod touch stopped connecting to my unit, it always been a little problem like sometimes it would connect right when i turn the car on and sometimes i would get the ipod connection failed please reconnect, and would unplug and reconnect and would be fine, but recently took it out added some music and updated software but wont connect, i still get the failed/reconnect alert but charges while its hooked up ? could software/firmware be a problem i havent updated to 3.0 but i kno firmware is 2.00600 or w.e it is the last i have

Try a different iPod and see if it gives you the same problem.

i had a first gen before and it would do the same thing connect and not connect, then ive had touch for a while and just yesterday took it out updated and tried connecting today and didnt work
