Hey all

I have an avic z110

I have been trying for weeks now to get the video working from my i pod.(read and tried all I could find in forum)

I have a i pod touch 32G

I record the videos direct from DVD using DVD catalyst 3, with res set to 480x320 I do one pass, video quality is set to 700kbps.

Its doesn't matter what video I copy they always have a black screen top and bottom.

I have wide screen turned off in the i pod and HU

I have tried every setting now in Catalyst.

Any ideas appreciatted

Could be the resolution of the videos. What's wrong with having those black bars on it?

the bars mean I don't get it full screen, was just wondering is this normal? I have a video that I transferred from windows player using the DIVX format and it plays full screen.

Am I missing something here?

Would be much nicer to see it full screen instead of bars at top and bottom

You do realize that if you do "zoom" the video to get rid of the bars at the top and bottom, you actually loose part of the left and right. The video was encoded at a resolution to display wide screen and that is the way it should be viewed.

Ah ok thanks VBlue just wanted to make sure i wasnt the only one getting that.

I can suffer it just as long as its meant to be like that
