I just purchased a Pioneer AVIC X920BT navigation system. I am replacing a Pioneer AVIC D2. My question is, how different is the installation kit from the AVIC D2 with the AVIC X920BT? Can I just simply take out the AVIC D2 and use the existing installation kit? I have the bypass for my AVIC D2, will I also need to modify to get the bypass to work on the X920BT?

 

I had the original unit professionally installed awhile ago, and I'm hoping this is just an easy swap that I can do.

Here's the D2 installation manual. Look at page 7:

Compare the D2 connectors to the X920BT connectors on page 11 of the X920BT installation manual:

They don't look anything alike to me.
