*Newbe* I am installing my new Z1 this weekend. I had all the item I needed, XM, BT, Z1, wiring harness from my local stereo shop.

I locate ALL the hookps, install everything. I hook up my speakers and I wan to test them to see if I have it right..........no sound at all.

I have the JBL system. What is the correct wiring harness???? I think there is one for this truck that has a module in it.

Any ideas??

There is a digital amp located behind the rear bench seat on the driver side. You will have to access your speakers there. The harness behind the stock radio is a digital signal and not compatible with the Z1. Now more bad news. The speakers in the front is a 3 way setup and the digital amp has built in crossovers designed to drive those 3. If you run the normal front output to these speakers via the z1 it will sound bad compared to the stock amp. So more than likely you will need to replace the front speakers. The rears should be fine. A nice set of 6.75" should work fine in the front. 6.5" will work but not fit exact in the stock holes.

You can retain the factory amp in the car. The harness you'll need is the tyto-01.

Thanks for the input, I have ordered the TYTO-01 harness. I've been told it will "solve my problems", we'll see.

I'll let you knwo after I get it installed.

See ya Doug.

The TYTO-01 worked GREAT!

Now I am trying to update the system, I am having problems upgrading the firmware.
