I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander with JBL stereo system that I'm replacing the head unit. Wondering if I should use the JBL amp that came with the car or bypass it with the amp in the x920BT? Anyone have opinions on the quality of the amp in this unit, especially versus the JBL amp, or would other aftermarket amps be better? Thanks!

the factory JBL amp is usually much more powerful and better sounding than the chip amp inside of the avics, not to mention most toyo's with JBL usually have a factory sub that the AVIC would not be able to power.

however some times the factory JBL systems dont quite sound right or make an unusual noise when connected to an aftermarket radio (most of the times i have experenced this, i believed there to be a problem with the factory amp )
