Greetings all. This is my first post here, since I'm the new owner of a 900 model.

I'm wondering, has anyone tried swapping out iGO for Garmin or TomTom? My unit should arrive in a few days but until then, if someone could elaborate on the file structure I'd be grateful. My previous Mio gps made it pretty easy to swap the default GPS software.

Whoa, nice to see you got the best system out there, well, once it is all modded it is the best. my suggestion to you is to do a lot of reading here on this forum. There is so much to learn here, it cant be explained in one post. There is so much that you can do to your AVIC, really, no other system can really compare, and trust me, I have looked. Anyways, welcome to the forum and make sure that you use the search bar, as it can find just about any answer that you have.
