I've had my Avic 700bt for nearly two years w/ no problems. I upgraded to the most recent firmware many months ago, whenever it was released. Today I got a fatal application error while the unit was starting up. I didn't have time to read it all before the unit shut down, so I don't know the details. I've tried restarting it - the splash screen comes up for a bit and then the unit just shuts down w/ no message.

 

Searching on the forum it seems most of the errors that result in similar shut down happen during the firmware update, which is not my case. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions that can help?
