I just picked up a AVIC D2 and was wondering if anyone has used an iphone 4g with theres I know I will need to pick up a CD-IB100II or CD-IB100 but I am not sure which one I will need if either will work. I am not worried about video since that is why I wanted the AVIC D2 because i don't want video in my car just nav without a stand alone unit. That and i got it for a steal.

Either adapter will work if they work at all. It will likely work for audio but there is not going to be very good control. Your actually better off just going from the headphone out of the iPhone to one of the AUX ins on the unit.
