So, it looks like my DVD/CD drive died (which I barely even use, so I don't understand how it died). I have a Z1 upgraded to a Z3 with a new HDD. My problem is this:

The "Unreadable Disc" banner remains on the screen the entire time you are in Audio Mode, and blocks other things like the Artist Name on XM. I can't figure out how to eject the CD, and then get the screen to flip back up. When I eject the CD, how do I get the screen to flip back up without putting a new CD in the drive? I tried hitting the eject button on the face to no avail.

Any ideas?

You just use the "open/close" button you also needed to open the screen....

(leftmost hardware button below the screen...)

That would be the obvious thing to do, but it doesn't do anything when the screen is open. Does it for you?

Yes, it closes the screen You have to press it once, briefly.

In the Z2/Z3 manual it also clearly states this.....(open/close button)
