i wasnt really sure where to put this but it is being installed on a f90bt unit so why not here right?

 

i bought a used p10hd hd radio unit and it didnt come with the power harness for it, so i robbed one from an old power supply for a pc, and now i need to know which of the four pins are positive and negative? or whats the proper way to hook it up? also, i looked at pics of the normal power harness and they have black boxes on the power leads, im assuming its a fuse, or is there more to it?

surely someone has an answer for such a simple question? i know it sounds unusual but the thing was bought off ebay and i didnt read the description fully, paid 70 bucks and not willing to invest 100 more for another, just dont wanna fry it you know? thanks for your help in advance.

Sorry bud, can't help with the pin connections, but the 'black boxes' you refer to will either be fuses (in which case you can open it/them to access the fuse) or noise/interference suppressors (in which case you cannot open it/them, it/they will be sealed units).
