OK....so I have been lurking for a few weeks and am about to pull the trigger on a Pioneer Avic system for my 2007 Civic. I found an authorized Pioneer on-line retailer (ElectraWarehouse) selling the X910BT unit refurbished from Pioneer for $485 with free shipping.

I don't have to have to have the newest model since I am upgrading from the stock Civic stereo, and this looks like a great deal. Any reasons why I should avoid jumping on this opportunity?

Refurbs only have a 90 day warranty so at this point you might as well get a brand new one from a non authorized dealer. You will have less of a chance of something going wrong.
