Could someone tell me if it's possible to move my custom poi lists, speedcam, and favorites from one igo device to my new F900? I'd made some KML files for my MIO but the directory structure looks different.

Yes, what device are they from originally? I am assuming that it is within the f/x series

No, It's a Mio C320 which also runs the IGO core

No, sorry, I do not believe that it is possible

I'm talking about custom poi lists and favorites. It shouldn't be too hard.

Can you extract them from your device? That is the hard part. If you can, then just put them in the poi folder and the 'favorites' in the save folder. Prviding they have the same file extensions

Yeah, that's no problem. It's what files to move. In this case, favorites, some custom POI lists, and the speedcam file. I can get them, I just need to know where to put them.

Custom POIs should be in .UPOI file on your Mio. Move them to Userdata\Poi folderf on AVIC.

Favorites are in Favorites.dat file in user\userdata\igo\save on the AVIC and in SAVE folder of your Mio's iGo directory.

Speedcams are in the content\speedcam folder. I would just move over the text file and let AVIC regenerate the speedcam database, although the speedcam.spdb file _might_ work as is.

This is good news....

One thing, the MIO let me use KML files to make POI lists. Can I do that with the AVIC?

Yes, you can drop a KML file there, too.

Actually you can drop them into the rood of an SD card. Which I'm now doing. Thanx all.

Hmm....looks like I spoke too soon. I dropped them into the root of my SD and they're not working...do they need to be in another format?

Edit: You have to have a folder there called "POI" with the KML files in it.
