I see with the new ipod update Apple has finally address the Album Artwork its crystal clear, its about time...

Can you be a little more specific? What iPod version are you using? And what version firmware did you download? I have an iphone 3G...I downloaded the new 4.0.1 firmware. The album art is great now, but the search alphabetically feature does not work...

I updated my iPod Touch to the 4.0.1 firmware, and the alphabetical search function still worked, but it was horribly slow. It took ages for the list to update to the letter I had selected. I ended up buying a cheap 30GB 5G iPod video from a friend just for use in the car. It's much faster than the Touch.

I thought the slow reaction time was just me. I have the IPod Touch 2 Gen and the art work is now clear. Yes, I have the lastest firmware on it as well.

I may need to buy a classic. I am using an old iphone with no sim as an ipod touch for my truck and album art is far from reliable and my library is perfect so . . it sucks but might need to replace this.
