We have an 07 Escalade that we just installed the AVIC Z120 in. Used the Metra piece and the Pac-SWI. All works fine except the PAC piece. I have no steering wheel controls and cannot get the unit to program to the correct version 2. I will go in to 3, 4 and 1 no problem. I have tried swapping power, grounds and talked to tech support multiple times. They don't seem to know what is going on. I also have swapped the unit for a fresh one with the same results......any help?

Is the Pac-SWI plugged into the Pac OS-4 module? I had all kinds of operating/programing issues with mine. The solution was to hard wire the Pac-SWI into the vehicles wiring harness. No more trouble after that.

That was on the advice of one of their Techs.

Not sure, as I did not install mine but my steering wheel controller is SWI-PS on 08 escalade, the "ps" may not make a difference and year should be same. mine works perfect with z110. Good luck!
